Festival Lodging

Within the Steamboat Springs area, you will find numerous hotels and motels as well as Airbnb and other lodging options. Note that most festival events occur at the Bud Werner Memorial Library and shuttles depart from Stockbridge Transit Center that are on the west end of town. Hotel options in downtown Steamboat Springs will be closest to the festival but there are plenty of hotel options near the ski area as well. You can view all the festival venues here.

 

For those seeking more rustic accommodations, the following camping options are all within close proximity:

Steamboat KOA Campground – 3603 Lincoln Ave., Steamboat Springs, CO.
Located within a couple of miles of festival headquarters (Bud Werner Memorial Library) and shuttle pick-up site (Stockbridge Transit Center). Visit the KOA website or call 970-879-0273 for more information.

Yampa River State Park – Two miles west of Hayden on US Hwy 40.
Closest camping area to most crane viewing sites in Hayden; located approximately 23 miles from festival headquarters in Steamboat Springs. Visit the campground information website or call 970-276-2061 for more information. For reservations call 800-244-5613.

Eagle Soaring RV Park ­– 25250 W. US Hwy 40, Steamboat Springs, CO.
Located about halfway between the festival headquarters in Steamboat Springs and most of the crane viewing sites in Hayden. Visit their website or call 970-879-0164 for more information.

Stagecoach State Park – 25500 County Road 14, Oak Creek, CO. Located 17 miles from festival headquarters in Steamboat. Visit their website to learn more. To make reservations visit the CPW shop or call 1-800-244-5613.
