The 10th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival is scheduled for September 2-5, 2021. It will feature crane, bird, and nature activities, plus new events, films and expert speakers.

Canaries in the Mine: 3 Billion Birds Lost. Can we get them back? by Arvind Panjabi, avian conservation scientist for Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and coauthor of the recent study published in Science magazine on the decline of North American birds. Thursday, Sept 2 at 6:30 -7:45 p.m.
The Nature Makers- A moving portrait of passionate people and the extraordinary creatures they’re fighting to preserve, including sandhill cranes, humpback chub and prairie dogs. Presented by the Bud Werner Memorial Library.
